Joined RRS only Dec last year and have been looking to purchase RRS last 7 weeks or so.

Initial preference was to buy a MY10 through a dealer for peace of mind but since changed and am now looking for an MY12 private/dealer

With personal preference prerequisites of Orkney Grey/Black, with factory privacy glass and Dark interior I’d be pleased to hear from any member who’s considering sale imminently or next 5/6 weeks.

Delighted to make donation to site if helps me in conclusion of purchase

Based on your postcode, there are appox 16 in either grey or black within 100 miles on the Land Rover used approved website. I am surprised at how much the dealers are asking for MY12, range from £42k to £45k.
We are looking to get £40k for our Firenze Red and it has more extras including steps and mud flaps than most of those on the website and much less miles, ours is under 7000 at the moment. Our new RRS is due in approx 6 weeks, so putting the feelers out at the moment.

I was chasing down a 62 plate at £40,850 but that got sold quite quickly, it's still up on site, as are 3 others under £42 that have been sold a week or more ago.

Seems the LR dealers are a little slow in updating, probably too busy moving the new stock out the door

It's my hope that we'll see stock listing updated in the next couple of weeks and maybe a chance of picking up the ideal car.
As nice as the black is, It's now a second choice, only because clean, imho, it's the best looking colour but , a p%g to keep clean. Maybe grey is the more lazy option

Still patient, the quest continues!

Dealers will generally only remove the car from the locator when it's physically driven away by the customer as opposed to when a deposit is placed on it....... I won't bore you with why, but as a customer I can see that its less than ideal.
