The Vesuvius RRS in the page header keeps disappearing, happened on my pc at work running Firefox but also now happening on my iPad

Appears fine for me on PC with Chrome, Firefox and Internet Exploder 10, so could be an iPad issue as I'm seeing it narrow on iPad. Like this site? Buy some RRSPORT goodies to show your support!

The layout was fine until the RRS came back in view, it's nose is missing and it's as if its picking up something to the rights you can scroll across to what must be 3 or 4 page width to find text for "forum, Gallery, shop, sponsors" in blue writing, even though I can see them above in white
