Off Topic Opt-Out (Hide OT in New Posts)

Hello all Smile

Another new feature added to RRSPORT recently is the "Hide Off Topic posts in the New Posts list" option in your profile. This option allows you to prevent off topic posts displaying in the list of new posts ("New Posts" link in the menu bar).

In effect you are "opting out" of seeing Off Topic posts when you want to see recent posts. With this option enabled the Off Topic forum is still fully accessible from the main forum page, and you can still do a normal search for Off Topic posts Smile

With the option disabled, your New Posts list will look something like this:

Here follows some instructions to hide the Off Topic ramblings Wink

Click 'Profile' on the menu bar to access your profile options
Scroll down until just above the avatar control area until you find the "Hide Off Topic posts in the New Posts list" option, and select the 'Yes' option
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Submit button
Now, click the New Posts link in the menu bar
Et voila, the Off Topic posts are banished!

To make the posts appear again, simply change the option in your profile back to 'No':
