I wonder how much the aftermarket guys will charge for a bonnet freed of those stupid fake vents...if I was buying a new RRS I'd investigate a way to get rid of them. They look so cheap. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

I agree, cheap plastic and clumsy. I worry about the increasing bling since JLR came under new ownership.
If LR thinks the RRS looks better with vents they should be neat and functional.

Oh dear, its just not growing on me. I may have to go FF next, but the thing is they look quite alike (except for the bulbous bottom on the RRS) So, I don't mind the FF, don't really like the RRS so far and can't stick the Evoque. JLR have alienated me a bit I'm afraid.

Especially bad on white, but they should come off easily and the holes filled. Perhaps for the price of a bonnet respray. I could just about put up with the side vents if the car is the right colour. What a shame Crying or Very sad

United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black

happy i have the older style range rover sport, more beefy looking Razz
these new sports look very much like the german audi's and bmw's, not to my taste the way they are evolving. i wonder if mrs beckham is the senior full-time designer now days ? Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.
TO DO: color code sills and pillars.

I'd get them colour coordinated...thus reducing the whole RS turbo/max power look.

The white looks a whole heap nicer in the flesh then in those pictures mind you.. I saw an Artic Frost(?) one yesterday and I quite liked it.... RRS gone

I neither here nor there on the bonnet ones (not a fan but couldnt be bothered). But the side ones, they are awful beyond awful stupid!

The bonnet ones do something so cant be filled in i imagine.

I saw a red and another grey/silver today but no chance to take a pic (to be honest i forget)

Its almost certain that i wont be having another sport now Big Cry Mike

According to Harry in his EVO review the bonnet vents serve no useful purpose, apart from adding bling!

I was always attracted to the rather simple RRS design which had some class.

The current RRS seems to have gone 'designer' resulting in too many bits being stuck around panels like the bonnet and wing vents. The light assembly have gone too 'arty' with the attempt to get a 'flow' side into the side look just because we can make bendy LED shapes doesn't mean we should ! and the front grille seems too narrow and not in proportion to the whole frontal area result IMO to a font-end-heavy, nose down look.

Sorry not really my cup of tea: I want classy sophisticated but functional looks; not something that is trying to win a student design class study at the Royal Society of Arts by including all the styling clues and fashion ideas they have been taught on one car.

Others will love it so perhaps its me Bow down

It's not designed for British tastes which is why it seems to attract derision from a UK audience... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
