thought i would buy a rear autobiography bumper off ebay from a supposedly reputable seller with 100 % positive feedback. turns out the bumper he sold me had a load of dents in it, despite the ad saying it was in good condition. now the guy wants me to return it to POLAND, despite him being a UK seller. Case has been taken up with ebay but I want to warn anyone out there before doing business with a certain "carpartseeu" ! He cannot be trusted ! Recently bought a 2007 RRS HSE TDV6 for a Pimp-My-Ride-Project.
DONE: Meduza front bumper, AB rear bumper, AB tailpipes, calipers repainted, rear upper tailgate upgrade, side steps, AB front grille, AB side vents, rear LED lights, clear side repeaters, integrated daytime running lights, LED headlights.

it was posted from CAMBS. i emailed him and he refused to change it, so "threatened" to have ebay intermediate at which point he changed his mind and backed down. he has 100% satisfaction, but he was very very fast in accepting my much reduced offer, and now i know why. difficult to find an honest soul on ebay given this is my third purchase there for RR stuff and two of them have been bluffs ! ebay is just a computerised car boot sale. Too many crooks and nicked stuff on it for my tastes. I've only bought a couple of things from it - LED bulbs and some alloys (which were actually at a local garage so easy to check on them). 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

You've also got to watch the 100% positive feedback.... as some people mark it as positive but with a negative warning to other ebayers (this stops the person counter claiming and maybe having the remark removed).

He could be 'dropship' selling. You buy, he orders from UK seller who ships it to you from Cambs. BUT, the DS seller will not accept returns, the seller has to - which in this case is in Poland ! Open a dispute but to get a refund you'll have to prove you've returned it. Cut your losses and get it repaired I'd suggest  RR Sport Supercharged Vesuvius Orange 4.2 V8 First edition

Prefer RR Vouge S/C but they don't do Orange !

I had recently a bad experience at ebay.(check my recent thread)Seller accepted my proposal for a refund.
However I regret to admit not leaving him any feedback at all, to his desperate request.Sort of part of the arrangement to settle this issue.
But this is how I was fooled from his impeccable feedback.And by doing so I"m miss leading his next buyer
