I have had a good search on here but cannot find an answer. What I require is someone to tell me how to remove the door mech from my 55 MY. It would be much appreciated!

I can access it through the door panel after stripping off the door panel and the window winder panel, but I cannot remove it. I suspect that the cable is detached from the inside door opening handle where it connects to the lock mech.
