Andy... want this merc?

Andy, decision time im afraid mate..

Merc is now ready for disposal.. last time it was moved, it has been left at an annoying angle, which is Censored my parents right off, so now they are really on my back to get rid of it!

my idea of sawing off the roof, filling it with soil and having an extravagant pot plant, didn't go down too well.. so anyone that wants it.. give me a shout, have opened up for bids to a few merc breakers to see if it will fetch anything for parts/scrap metal, but not heard back yet.

£80 delivery charge would apply, send me a PM if anyone wants it..
Gold coloured Merc 500 SEC 1984, brown cloth interior, engine, transmission, exhaust shot to **it, boot won't close.. V5 and key present, 1980's NEC car phone included, and stereo.. doesn't start/run, wheels aren't seized and car can be transported easily. Ideal project which should take about a year to complete.. wack another merc engine in it, and im sure it would make the ultimate pimp mobile..

Open to offers.. Now on an A reg...

Ok, no problem.. you can take it piece by piece if you want!!? hehe..

nah, don't worry, thought i would give you first shout. Mercland have offered to pay for transport and have asked for pictures, as apparently the chrome bits are worth some money.. the bling bling bits.. so it may not be £0 afterall.. some cheeky git said, £150 payment and i'll take it off your hands.. obviously i told him where to stick his head.. £150 payment.. cheeky sod..

So mercland appear to be offering the best deal so far..
But saying that, someone else told me, to get it weighed in at local scrappy as the car contains a LOT of metal so should be worth a fair few quid.. well if i break £200, i'll be happy..

MERC.. Now sold..
Mercland.co.uk are paying me a very handsome fee of £200 for this vehicle, and paying for the pickup.. quite chuffed with that, it will run my RS4 for all of 3 weeks probably..

u can say that again..
if anyone ever wants any advice about buying an old heap of Censored and taking a cherished plate off it.. give me a shout.. i've researched around this area sooo much now, i think i know quite a bit about how it all works.. basically there is soo much red tape, its silly, but most DVLA/Government staff agree with me on that, so a few shortcuts were taken to aid in the progress of this plate transfer.. now safe and sound on the RS4..

The Merc was picked up off my driveway on sunday... what a bloody relief to finnally get rid of the eyesore! boot was held close and exhaust up by a yellow piece of string.. i was getting nagged once an hour at least to find out when it was going by my parents!!

Plates now on the RS4.. and im a happy bunny.. cost me all in all about £2750 for KAM **, which im happy with. (thanks again misery for the direction..) will bring you the HSE grill to the motorshow.

Guys, talking of which, anyone want a rough set of mats for their RRS? for offroading trips etc.. cost me £12 or something, used them once, hardly got them dirty at all.. right shape for the RRS, in dark grey colour..
First to post on here wins them.. although it would help if you are coming to the motorshow, as i ain't posting em..
