I have just spoken to Land Rover CR, who confirmed the £100 60-40 folding rear seats with through load option is indeed a ski flap type opening in the middle of the rear seats. Even without this option the rear floor is level when the seat backs are folded. However, the through load option must be specified when fitting a third row of seats.
