Start of deliveries

I'm seeing a wide range of dates for delivery of the new RRS. Does anyone know the official line as I've only seen January 2014?

There are a number of factors that will affect the actual date - but expect August/September at the earliest. Mike

At the preview on Thursday night they were saying September for first deliveries and end of the year for cars with the 5 + 2 option.

"Glut" was a bit too strong, but the prices up here will start to drop as people trade up. No oil guy wants the old model when our market remains strong and one can afford the newer model. I just wondered when they would start discounting the current stock and recent trade ins.

If you trade in your P & J it's an "old model' and worth much less than you thought. If you want to buy an "old model", it becomes much sought after and will cost an arm and a leg.

Deliveries begin in September but depends on spec ordered, certain build spec's will be later. Sounds like when they launched the Evoque when people waiting up to 10 months for build as there spec wasn't available

Demonstrators

I spoke to my local dealer yesterday. Their demonstrator/s should be arriving at the end of July or early August.

I've just found a bit of loose change down the back of the sofa so have changed my build spec from an HSE Dynamic to an AB. Apparently it hasn't altered my delivery date as "in Sept".

My guess is that most of the demonstrators will be AB's.
