TPMS Light Help

Gents, I've exhausted the search function on the forum and I still cannot find a suitable answer.

Here's what's happening.

All tires are good w/recommended pressures for both front and rear tires.

I don't get a steady fault light, nor the message center instruction to check all tyre pressures. What I do get is the same fault light (amber) the comes one for about 3 seconds, then off for about 10-15, then on again. It just started this a few days ago.

Any ideas? Anything I can do without having to see the f Censored dealer?

Thanks in advance! '12 RRS SC

Something like the sensor or receiver being faulty and not getting a signal would be the most obvious...if you are sure the pressures are ok. Mike

What's really strange is that it won't do it when the temperatures are ~40F of less, but when it gets warmer (50F+), I get the check all tyre pressures message or the blinking light... '12 RRS SC

Turns out it was the TPMS module. Tech said its a known issue w/ the 07 models.

Can't DIY unless you ave access to software that sync senors to module. '12 RRS SC

It's back!

Nearly 3 years after getting the problem fixed (which included replacing the module), the near same problem is back. The only difference this time is that there's no accompanying message center message to check tyre pressures in all tires. It's also not a consistent issue. For example: the amber light will come on for maybe a second and then go away and do that throughout a short trip. Once I get back in the car and head to another location I may not see the light come on again until the next trip. I can't seem to replicate the conditions that make the light blink, it just does it when it feels like it.

Any thoughts? '12 RRS SC
