Oulton park is a fantastic circuit, I done a day there in my EP3 just before Xmas, great day!

Have you done much work to the Clio? I've been thinking about changing from the Civic to a Clio myself. Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

Previous: Mercedes CLS, BMW 330cd M sport, Nissan 200sx, Impreza STi, EP3 Civic Type R

its basically a standard clio cup 172 with upgraded brakes and suspension, the previous owner stripped out the interior back to bare bones and put in a pair or sparco bucket race seats with 3 point harnesses, ive added a part roll cage and give it a good service and changed the disks and pads, thats all for now, but next on the list is a set of Gaz Gaz coil over springs and dampers plus a decat kit and ecu remap.

to be fair it handles really good already, but i just like to tinker with things till it feels right to me.

I was averaging about 2mins 20 secs per lap so ive set my bench mark for the car as it is now, considering ive never been on the track before i was going ok.

trouble is when you go to these days there is always people with money to burn, there was a guy there in a nissan GTR he went on track at the same time as me in the afternoon but only did 2 laps he cooked his brakes by driving like a muppet LOL spent the rest of the afternoon looking at it like it was going to fix itself LOL Discovery TD5 commercial (gone)

Sounds like a good little track toy! I had some of the tuition at Oulton which helped no end, helped me get the most out the car and run the right lines.

I know what you mean about the rich crowd, last time I was at Anglesey there was a rich boy in a modified Merc CLS55 AMG, he managed 20 laps and ruined a set of rear tyres as well as having his rear brakes smoking. Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi

There's not much else you could buy for that kinda money that's going to put the same size smile on your face as the Clio Cool Current: 06 RR Sport HSE TDV6, Bonatti grey, black leather. Defender 90 pick up. Vito 110cdi
