Goodbye for now

After two and a bit years my time in a sport is now coming to an end.
Putting our holiday home up for sale over in the Lake District means the sport won't be required to carry the clan plus dog across country in comfort and safety anymore.

We quite liked the sport despite its little niggles and would definitely consider one in the future.
I have found this forum interesting and very useful so i'll probably still drop in just to see what's going on etc.

The sports replacement in a brand spanking new Mercedes C220 diesel amg sport plus in black Mr. Green

If anyone selling is interested I managed to get 23.5k as a trade in.

I'll be putting my tow bar in the for sale section should anyone be interested.

Adios amigos Thumbs Up

Nik. 2015 Golf R DSG

Thinking about changing mine in for a C class aswell not sure if its worth it as I only really drive it 1 week a month and the mrs uses it rest of the time. Some good deals out there for brand new C63`s aswel.

Yes the offers are good.
A 'proper' AMG would be nice but I'm trying to reign it in a bit Laughing

Bloody hell Embarassed
As I have never leased a vehicle I'm obviously put of touch. Mind you if I do have to buy a new Sport, I will get finance on it simply to have a bit more leverage when it goes wrong Thumbs Up 2x TDV6. SE and HSE. Both returned to sender with issues👀

Same here, I only buy cars by cash or HP.

Although I'm tempted by some of the deals going about, especially this BMW 6 series offer:

That is a very good offer, typical buisness use only though. I have never leased in the UK before so am not sure if that a route I would go down but it does look like theres alot better deals to be had.

Yet again I mite just stick with what I have for another year unless I make the move to Aberdeen.

C class is a nice car, I have one as well s my full fat, sadly it isn't a patch on my rangey and I'm sure wont be a patch on the ride of your sport, I'm trading mine in this summer for a sport. Beautiful looking cars tho Mercedes these days!

Sounds like your mate needed to invest in some winter tyres.
I know a few BM owners and winter tyres make a huge difference.

Unlike Land Rovers fantastic reliabilty Wink
