You can't register a car here with kph on the speedo I don't think (my neighbours have just had this trouble) - so maybe it's the opposite problem out there?

There are a lot of expats who take their cars from UK. Not heard it's compulsory but maybe when it comes to register it, it is.

Either way, I think i'd prefer kph closcks living abroad anyway.

You have to watch the Cypriots driving very closely. I don't want a further distraction of watching mph/kph on the current dials. Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

Apparently - having liased with JEengineering [ again ] Wink changing the dials on the RRS is a lot easier than on the FFRR. They will be looking at doing/offering different coloured dials soon.

Sorry Martin.....could you also find out what fitting clocks will entail as I would be very reluctant to have a dash removal! Shocked Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

ST - Bad news - just got a reply from JE.................

quote "Yes it does entail dash top removal, a fairly major job. The dials are not available separately from Land Rover, so it is a matter of getting dials printed by a suitable supplier. There is certainly a fair lead time on things like this, so I am not sure it will be much use, depending on when emigration is to take place."

So, although easier to do than on the FFRR.... still a biggish job.
