Found out that my local tyre place has the Hunter ProAlign kit now. They charge on a per-adjustment basis so hopefully when I get them to look at mine it won't need much doing (I've got a slightly odd wear pattern on one tyre). Will get it looked at when they change my winter tyres off this weekend. Must remember to set the suspension to tight tolerance mode.

I think the dealer price is so high because they charge £100++ per hour... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

^^^ But that's still on another £50....the guys that did mine did it in under 30 minutes.

The guys at Audi when I had my previous car quoted my 3 hours to carry out alignement. I assume that factored in lunch and a tea break, but charging it to me Whistle Rolling with laughter ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

My local LR dealer charges £165 I think. I've got a feeling VAT is on top of that too!

So one and a half hours to do the adjustment. Seems a bit excessive to me but I haven't watched them to see what they do. If the vehicle has been jacked off the ground they're supposed to do a 10 minute "road test" to get the suspension settled down. I guess that's part of the cost too. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders

When I had mine done about 7 months ago the main stealer charged £100 and took it to the local Protyre centre to do the work. I later found out they charge £48 if you go direct!!!! MY16 AUTOBIOGRAPHY Indus silver with some toys
