3 20"s and a 19"

One of my 20" wheels is curbed and I need to send it to be repaired and was going to put a 19" on while it is away and the dealer adamantly said "don't do it" as it will mess up the tranny. Has anyone done this? Thanks! in advance. Mike mike murphy

Depends what size of tyres are on the 20"s. Over here, the standard fitment is 275/40R20, and all models that came with 20" wheels, all had a 19" spare as standard, 255/50R19 Thumbs Up

The 20"'s are 275-40-20 and the 19" is a 255-50-19. I did this once before and noticed the car would not up -shift when accelerating but I found I could manually up-shift it. Just don't want to blow transmission. Mike mike murphy
