United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Java Black
My new RRS

Hi everyone. First time on here. I ordered my new HSE TDV6 in April for delivery 1/9/06. At first I was told I had to pay an extra £2750 for 1/9 delivery but eventually they agreed to "hold ther price." I have now having seen so many RRS with 19" alloys and a lot fewer with 20" wheels decided to upgrade with the Dynamic Pack. Can anyone confirm that the new model priced at plus £2750 comes standard with the 20" alloys as with the dynamic pack. It woudn't change a lot as I can't wait for our new RRS to arrive on 1/9 but I would be curious to know. Can anyone also advise on a couple of other points.

(1) I have ordered Java Black and I know how difficult it is to keep black cars looking like new. Any tips on best way of cleaning / polishing etc form other RRS owners in Black.

(2) Does the Dynamic Pack mean suspension upgrade as well as the wheels, brakes and special bi-xenon lights.

Thanks Very Happy

Hi Ronnie,

The 07MY comes with 19" inch as std - not the 20"s that used to come with the optional dynamic pack.

If you can delay your build/delivery for an 07MY, the extra costs do give you more value for money (sort of Confused )

RRUK posted a his cleaning routine some time ago. Sounded absolutely brilliant but you have to be dedicated.

Hi Kaine,
Do you know what the 07MY will come with and therefore why it's more expensive. I definitely want the 20" wheels so still pleased I haven't delayed anymore.

Thanks

have a read through this thread - http://www.rrsport.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2119

just note, 20's are not std with the 07MY - they are a £700ish option

I'm confused. What exactly has the 07MY got that the 06 hasn't. If it's just dynamic pack I think I understand. My dealer was insisting that even if I bought an 06MY for registration 1/9/06 onwards I would have to pay extra. They finally gave in as I said I wasn't paying £2700 for delaying from August to September.

Ronnie,

Just did a quick search, plus tried to remember what the sales guy told me too

07MY changes

1. One touch drop for passenger window
2. Hybrid TV tuner ( optional )
3. Electronic lumbar adgustment ( in conjctn. with memory option )
4. Additional Interior Clock
5. Control Navigation input whilst driving.
6. Door handles finish change to match alu inserts
7. Dynamic pack (Dynamic Response, Brembo Brakes, Bi Xenon Adaptive Head Lights)
8. Cooler box
9. PTI

I have probably missed something

Kaine

Kaine,
I think I am clear now. I already pushed back the delivery from June to Sept to have new registration so I don't think I will try and delay any further.

Thanks

Ronnie, from personal experience if you are retro fitting 20" wheels, then DEFINITELY opt for Dynamic Pack!

Also, if you've gone for Java, Stormers look superb
