Give the exterior a really good look over, paint defects are far too common I am afraid, also check for damage caused in shipping etc.
The interior should be fine as they are well protected so any damage there would probably have been caused by the dealer.

The above sounds really bad, most are excellent and the main thing is just enjoy!

I'll second what Cliff has said - Check the paintwork carefully anything else will become clear only after driving the car. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten

Definately check for paint defects.........look around inside the door openings. Also check panel alignment and gaps, including bonnet and boot (hood and trunk). Make sure all the switches are there and that they work.
Look around for glue that's squidged out of the seams, check the leather and check the black paint around the windows for tiny paint holes.

Good luck.
Enjoy! RRS 4.2 S/C. Zermatt. Tints. Stormers. 150+ paint defects, wonkey bonnet, scratches, detached doorseal. suspension faults. To sum it up, a 60k pile of cr4p!

United Kingdom 2006 Range Rover Sport TDV6 SE Arctic Frost

I know I have a slightly biased view about the quality of the Range Rover Sport (and the Disco 3, if I'm honest) but Roversport55 you have made a fantastic choice in the RRS.

Every manufacturer has produced poor quality vehicles in every model line and somehow we always get to hear about them. Unfortunately we don't get to hear about the thousands of perfectly good cars we produce on a weekly basis.

Please believe me when I say you have more chance of getting a b Censored y goud'un than a bad'un.

I just know this post is going to come back to haunt me Embarassed  Arctic Frost TDV6 SE. Aspen Leather, Cherry Wood, Privacy Glass, PTI, Tow Pack, Mudflaps, Tasmods, a new Fuelflap, a RRSport.co.uk umbrella in the boot & a RRSport.co.uk sticker on the rear glass.

Yep, this isn't the car for the tyrannosaurus rex. And I'm not the only one on here to have said they're too far away, so I'm not weird (well not for that reason anyway).

I would say not to get too hung up on looking for defects on delivery, just enjoy the moment. You have plenty of time to look over the car afterwards to check it over.

I think the best way to notice any defects externally and internally is to give it a thorough hand wash and chammy it dry, then hoover out the interior, look carefully at the stitching on the seats to check it's all even and in line etc.

nice choice of car though, you'll love it. L319 D4 HSE
