My disco front heated screen is dying more and more...I have glass insurance, nothing seems clear if the broken elements = broken screen = insurance excess replacement

It has a small stone chip...

Anyone had any experience with this?? Mike

I doubt the company would class the elements as screen damage

Problem is if you ring them they say no and as bad luck always follows bad luck you'll end up with a crack and they'll smell a rat and not pay, I would wait till a stone thrown up in this coming bad weather... Then call them

mine was same,so i chipped it, accidentally of course(cough cough) paid my £65 excess and hay presto new screen.! also i requested and land rover one which they approved
