United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Sport TDV6 HSE Rimini Red

It seemed odd that LR didn't release an TDv6 RRS's to the press for testing. They obviously wanted to have this vehicle associated with the Supercharged version rather than the oil burner. I did toy with the idea of a petrol but look at what happened with the X5. At first petrols were popular, but once people realised the diesel was pretty quick and a whole lot more economical it became most peoples choice. Huge shortages of the diesel mean't a few more people chose petrol than probably wanted to. Now residual values of the 2 year old petrol models are falling fast because if you can afford to run one you can afford to buy a new one. The diesel's residuals are rock solid though. The RRS will be the same (fingers crossed).

After a couple of days I can confirm: RRS with the 2.7 diesel is perfect (motor and transmission). Of course it is a little bit slower compared with my old car (Volvo XC90-T6), but driving is Smooth ! More info after my trip to France within 2 weeks.
