Does anyone know how to check which version of the sat nav maps that is loaded on to the MY12 onwards with the HDD ???

The reason im asking is that the RRS was in at the dealers today for a few warranty items and also to get the sat nav updated with the new 2013 maps which came out about 3 week ago, they said that they tried to update them 3 times and it kept crashing so they gave me the flash drive (usb stick) with the software update and the product key and instructions on how to do the update, basically just plug in, put in product key, wait till software updates (2hrs 27mins) once it reaches 100% acknowledge new software, unplug USB stick, lock car for 1/2 hour, reopen and all should be updated.....in theory.....

Once i go through all that and reopen the car the sat nav starts as normal but nothing seams to have changed also if i plug in the USB stick it comes up on the screen saying updates are available this will take 2hrs 27mins to complete to continue press accept and then you need to go through the whole process again

Anyone have any ideas...

The hidden menu lists all the software versions - whilst ive not looked, i bet the map version info is also there.

You could be the first person ive come across who has forked out the £'s for the new maps on the HDD version Mike

Mike, i had a look in the hidden menu and it only states software versions for the actual info system and not the sat nav version but before i put it into the dealer i had taken a photo of all screens on the hidden menu just to be sure The only reason it was getting done was that i had agreed at the time of purchase in October that they would update to the new sat nav version when it was released FOC.

Tried to load it a few times over the weekend and still no joy  Dave.
