I certainly don't reverse usuing my rear view camera, i always use my mirrors, however i do use it to check that something isn't right up my arse that i can't see through my mirrors, or worse a little child hasn't run behind me if i'm in town etc.

Reversing Camera

Very handy to check if there is something, or somebody, at low level, behind the car.

I never use the rear view mirror when reversing only when driving. Camera all the way

Reversing using the camera and side mirrors gives you everything you need (more than the rear view mirror)...add in sensors to complete the picture. Mike

Admiring the look of horror on her face as your reversing light comes on. Rolling with laughter

I added a switch for that, no need for reverse Wink

Agree with the above, I also add that if the parking/manoeuvring spot is quite tight it allows you to get to an inch or less of the obstacle. '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

Useful as a rear view mirror when the back is loaded up, or a third passenger in the back.
All 7 camera views available in main menu regardless of drive selection, not sure which year that became available. MY11 RRS HSE

Well, thank you guys. You convinced me Very Happy .

Now,

Q1: where do I buy one from? A good one of course Very Happy
Q2: who can fit one for me? I mean professionally. I don't want to see any wires. (I live in London)
Q3: does fitting a camera makes the warranty invalid?

Hope you find some time for quick advice.

Very Happy /|\

We were all talking about the factory fit options
Q1 - lots of options, talk to the person you select in 2...maybe look on disco forum
Q3 - almost certainly not unless you bu gg er about with a built in system Mike
