New functions added to the IIDTool diag. sys. - vid inside

New features added. With this release coming up, the firmware is now coming very close to being completed.
The IIDTool has now definitively reached a level of functionality allowing direct comparisons to much more expensive units.

And there will be even more cool stuff coming. Razz

This is a 2010> model (an LR4 actually) but similar functionality will be available for the <2009 models.

Hi Monty,
please let me know who and where you contacted anybody and I will follow up. In the meantime, the quickest way to find the IIDTool is simply to google: IIDTool+price will lead directly to several online dealers - some have terrific prices so do compare.
Please post or PM me if you have any further difficulties (or send a quick mail to support@ our website.com and I will make sure you are taken care of)

If you mean in that it is a diagnostic tool, yes. But the IIDTool is tailored to late model, air sprung LR's and is extremely portable and quick: you have no pc to use as an interface. You use the vehicle itself. Hence the name Integrated Interface Diagnostic Tool.

Without having looked at VAG-COM in greater detail quite some time... We are already doing nearly everything that can be done on late model LR's within normal OBD parameters. I can not imagine that VAG-COM does much more - simply because there is not much more left. Where did you take the info for this statement? What functions are you looking for that you believe are not included?
