Sorry for the delay but been away in the van Cool

Sd card formatted already and when powered up blackvue installed software without issue - are you sorted rudski Confused

With the piggyback you use the original fuse to maintain existing supply and a new fuse for the accessory - I used a 2amp for the power saver Thumbs Up

I have updated firmware no problem Confused

Have you got sorted Ady Sad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Just hardwired the Blackvue in the new RRS and had to read my own guide from last time to refresh my memory Embarassed

Now realised I never mentioned black earth cable Rolling Eyes

I did this by unscrewing bonnet release handle and removing it and trim behind to access screw securing mechanism. Clipped spade behind screw, retightened and replaced trim and lever - job done Thumbs Up

Hope this makes sense - should of taken a photo but put it all back together before I thought about it Banging Head Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

I decided not to undo trim and the bonnet release but to extend the earth wire by a few inches, loosen the bolt at the bottom on the RHS of the glove compartment which is attached to the metal frame and push a "U"type connector down onto the bolt between the bracket and the plastic. Even if you don't get it seated right on the bolt it holds in place ok when the bolt is tightened.

Where did you guys install the camera? I wanted to put mine up on the windshield behind the rearview mirror. I'm just wondering how to run the power cable neatly from the fusebox. I guess I have to rip apart some of the moldings?

Or are there any cables up there that I could use? Would have to be one that's hot only when the ignition is on. RRS SC 2011 for fun

There is enough space to tuck the cable away behind the headlining where it meets the screen, then tuck it away behind the pillar trim. Thumbs Up

Just being curious - what software are you using for viewing the dashcam footage?

This one http://www.registratorviewer.com/index_en.html is Russian but still the best I've seen so far. RRS SC 2011 for fun
