TV bypass - are they worth it

Dear members

I am looking into buying a TV bypass for my 2012 HSE and wondered if any members had experience of how easy they are to install (ebay add says 100% plg and play).

Also if others have installed them do they find they are worth it and used. I was in a 4 hr jam on the M3 last month and the TV was great even with the sometimes fragile signal, but had to keep the crawl under 15mph to get a picture.

Interested in others points of view.

Cheers Yorkie

Never seen the point of them to be honest Confused more than happy to listen to the Ipod for a few hours. Cool
On the rare occasion that I have had the TV on (waiting for my kids from a party Rolling Eyes ) then I've driven off, the signal disappears fairly quickly and you can't even hear the thing, so the picture would be worthless anyway Laughing

Now if you could get a bypass for the bloody sat nav agree screen, that I would buy Razz ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Ignoring it being illegal (im not a kill joy - although i would want your attention on my car rather than the TV)

I dont find the reception too bad - it can be hit an miss, but it could be worse, ive never used a bypass - but would suggest it would have the occasional use etc but real value is limited

Because if you agreed once, that should be enough for the next 6 years? Wink '08 RRS TDV8
I converted my diesel RRS to run on an environmentally friendly mixture of caribou fat and baby seals oil

As said, gets on my tits having to constantly 'agree'. Especially if I press 'take me home' as we're going along if we've been out somewhere. Have to take your eyes off the road to press the bloody thing, VERY annoying!!! ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

A dangerous waste of money, plus risk of loosing your licence.
