United Kingdom 2007 Range Rover Sport TDV8 HSE Stornoway Grey
Has anyone done a DIY fit of an Audio Connectivity Module

I've just picked up a new Audio Connectivity Module (ACM) which I want to fit to the RRS.

The question is do I do it myself or hire a vehicle electrician to do it for me.

Has anyone done it themselves? Is it a never to be repeated pain in the neck or is it straightforward?

It's very straightforward as long as you can take the trim off, the radio etc is easy to do. Bodsys Brake Bible

My dealer fitted mine during routine service....they say 4 hour job but I didn't complain since they didn't charge me.

I saw the installation booklet which looked rather daunting with lots of wires and connectors, also involves removing some plastic trims which I wasn't familiar with.

If you are electrical minded you might be alright....I'm not! Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.

For an idea of what trim to remove and how, take a look here:
