I have a 2006 v6 2.7 i am having trouble loading discs into the cd player when i select any of the slots 1 to 6 i get message load disc on doing so cd player wont take the disc or take half way and starts chewing at disc any ideas.

I think that the feeding mechanism has slipped or has jumped some of the teeth, I can send you pictures of how to strip it down till you can get to it to have a look as it could be just something simple like a spring has come off or needing the cogs set again
