Your Thoughts!!

I've made a few small mods to my car, just wondered what the general opinion is. So far I've added side steps, smoked side repeaters, blanked off the EGR valves, changed the interior lights for blue LED's (I quite like them but think I may get some stick on this site as I'm way past 18 years old!!). Recently I had a puncture so put on the spare wheel which is black. I think it looks good on the grey car and am now considering getting the wheels painted black, what do you guys think?

No comments? I'd really appreciate some feed back, especially on the wheels. Anyone have any experience with painted alloys?

My wheels have been painted anthracite and look great, need refurbing tho so may keep the colour and get the faces diamond polished, undecided yet.

i had blue led in my last car and have blue led strips in the kitchen... Love the look.. But always struggle to find anything in the light. Looking to go white led when i get the chance Cool Why?.. Because i can....

I've personally never been a fan of black wheels as it makes it look like an empty wheel arch - but I agree that black wheels do go well with the colour of the car so if it's your thing then go for it! Monty, have you got any pics of your wheels? I like the sound of anthracite.

I quite like the blue LEDs Embarassed They make you feel like you're in a spaceship when you pull the keys out of the ignition Very Happy I imagine with the cream interior they make quite an effect.

Did I mention I'm probably a lot younger than most of you guys? Laughing

Remember, it's your car and if you like it then that's all that matters.

What Kav says Thumbs Up

But......personally I'm only a fan of very few styles of black wheels (those aren't one of them Laughing ) and the Blue LED's are not for me either, sorry Embarassed Neutral ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Black wheels look silly

Mud looks great

Purple lights suggest an owner who says "init" at the end of each sentence... 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

Cheers for the replies guys, I thought the blue LEDs would prove a bit controversial, and although I certainly don't say 'innit' I do have blue LEDs in my decking, railway sleeper wall and of course Christmas lights!! Maybe I shouldn't own up to this!! I'm considering swapping them for green ones, to match the green glow of the car interior lights, and as they only cost just over a quid for 10 it might be worth a look. How can someone sell you 10 bulbs and post them to you for £1.19???
The wheels I'm thinking of getting painted black are not the ones shown (I managed to put a hole on the inside rim of one of them!! I've just bought 4 wheels with brand new continentals on for £600 from fleabay, I think they're called snowdrop, off a slightly later car I believe?
Anyone know of a company that will paint for a good price in south Wales, if not may even have a go myself Confused

My cars the same color, with the same wheels (back wheel in photos). I kinda like the black wheels, but I thinking of painting my wheels in bonatti grey to match the car. If I don't like that, black will be the next option. RRS '05 4.4 Bonatti Gray Black Leather
