Cars broke, got loadsa warning messages!

Big Cry Started happening two nights ago when driving home for no reason I got loads of amber warning symbols like exclamation marks and little pics of the car with arrows above, centre screen switching between "transmission error" "suspension error" " suspension lowered" "HDC error". "system error", and also a bonging warning sound, No other symptoms of a problem with the car it was running good and sitting fine but I've not drove it over 30mph and just parked it straight up , AA collecting it this morn to take to dealer between 8 and 10 Big Cry Java black 2006

Battery and/or alternator?
If not, perhaps a faulty Brake pedal switch.

Cheers Bean!

DrLex I've had a new battery fitted early this year so it maybe the alternator

One bonus in this situation is I now know my tracker company are on the ball which I was never too sure of but they did ring me straight away to tell me my cars on a transporter this morn whichbim happy with! Java black 2006

When my compressor was on its road out I would get

The suspension light coming on - car with arrows above it
Suspension error
HDC error
Special program's off
And a boing when it all happened, it's perfect now with the new compressor. 2.7 TDV6

Don't forget to check the brake bulbs too, if you've put some cheap ones in recently, that can also make a difference.

Also check fuel filter is a genuine one and not blocked Thumbs Up Bodsys Brake Bible

Check the new battery is actually the same in every respect as the orginal - non-OE will/can cause issues.

Sorry cant advise on cost of brake switch as it was done under warranty - make sure they calibrate it if you get it done - mine had to be redone because they didn't apparently Rolling Eyes Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW
