Greeting from the US... pics of my cars + a question

Greetings from the states!

Just wanted to say hi and I hope to learn and contribute to this forum. I would like to start off by showing what my stable contains and what I hope it will in the near future (RR Sport Smile)

My daily:

My weekend:

Please help! I am looking into trading the M3 for a Range Rover sport and have a couple of questions. I have spoken to a few coworkers and they told me that range rover in the past has had a lot of problems. I don't want to take their word for it so here I am to ask/plead for you to share with me your experiences. How do you like it? Any things that a potential buyer needs to look out for? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi m32,

Simple = dump the M3 A.S.A.P. and go get yourself a RRS , you will not be disappointed. Like any new car - a few teathing issues - but nothing out of the ordinary. A lot of people on this forum have traded in M3's / M5's and me personally Audi S4 cabriolet . Just do it Thumbs Up

M32, welcome to the mad house.....

I too run a BM as well as the RRS - All I will say is be prepared!

I genuinely believe the BM to be far higher build quality, but nowhere near as addictive. The RRS will make you fall in love with it and you will come to ignore any little foibles. The same issues in a BM, you would probably get rid of it.

Scour the site to see the main issues but trust me, despite one or two little niggles it will be one of the best decisions you could make! Runner up - 2009 Best Avatar Award Sad

2013 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Stornoway Grey

I've never owned a BM or Honda, but am very biased as I am now on Land Rover No 6 in 10 Years, I have owned all the versions reputed to have horrific reliablity problems except for a P38 and never had any major problems.

Go for your RRS, you won't regret it. 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
2018 Melting Silver Mini Countryman PHEV - soon to be replaced
2015MY Corris Grey SDv6 HSE Dynamic, the best car I have ever owned, totally reliable only a cou0le of rattles in 3 years, now no longer in my care
Also in my garage is a 1996 TDi300 Defender 90 County HT made into a fake CSW

Currently driving a BMW E61 and although its fast, reliable, handles well and looks good (IMHO), it just doesn't do it for me (if that makes sense) - its almost to good!!

I had a Touareg (Feb 05 - Feb 06) and although it had lots of problems, I still wish I hadn't sold it for the E61 - I always looked back at the Treg when walking away from it - the BMW - well I know its there Wink

BMW & Honda may make fast, reliable cars, however they have no soul - even the M5/M6 is just a piece of automobile excellence - thats it (IMHO)

The RRS may not be the solution for you, however personally the noted problems do not put me off one bit.

Just my thoughts

Kaine

Greece 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged Bonatti Grey

Had no issues whatsoever so far and I have 3.000 km on the clock, it is a great car from every aspect / true that build quality and details you see once you ve goten used to it are nowhere near bmw quality,i.e when trying to change a dvd you have to maneuver through wires and cables hanging in there which doesnt feel as luxurious as this car should. All over whatsoever I love every minute of owing it! RRS S/C,Bonatti Grey,Ebony Interior,Lined Oak Finish, Rear Lock Dif, DVD,Sunroof,ACC
