new steering wheel on an 09 autobiography (old body)

Hello all,
I'm trading my 2006 HSE with an 09 Autobiography. Unfortunately the interior is still going to be like the old ones but I was thinking of buying a new steering wheel and put it on the new one.
Is the heated steering wheel option going to work If I do so?
thank you very much.

If you buy a wheel that has the heated option yes. the wheels are the same it's just the switch packs that are different, you just need to re use your existing switch packs.

I didn't think the AB came in the older shape from factory, maybe the US is different , check it's Actually stated on owners document

for what it's worth I never found the heated steering wheel particularly good. Perhaps try it out before going to the effort of installing? ============

Was one of the items I went without to take an available car from LPR. I just liked the idea of it and have often wondered about retro fitting one. ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Thanks guys.
X5pea, It's funny how you mentioned that the Autobiography doesn't come in the older body and you were right. This guy tried to sell me a supercharged with the HST package as an autobiography!!!

rrsboy, Trust me, with temperatures below 35 that steering wheel will feel hottt!!! Smile I hope at least.
