New tyre will be 3.62% smaller.

Google "tyre size calculator" to see the difference

United Kingdom 2012 Range Rover Sport SDV6 HSE Orkney Grey

Isn't the FFRR supplied with 255/50/20? If so, 265/45/20 will be less than 2.5% smaller than the standard size.

What wheels does he have on it? The FFRR has 8.5J which I would have thought was too narrow for a 295 width tyre...

I think you'd be better off popping over to the FFRR forum and asking them TBH. 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed
