Will this iPod lead work in my 55-reg Sport?

Not sure I have the right connection - I know I've got an Aux-in headphone jack on the back of the front armrest-cubby box, do I have a connection for this lead too somewhere?

I think this is for later models or those with an iPod connection kit. You just want a standard headphone jack to plug into your iPod the. The other end (the same) to plug to aux in. Range Rover Sport HSE DYnamic SDV6 Velocity blue 2020 MY

Yeah I've got the 3.5mm jack cable already, was hoping for a more integrated solution that will charge the iPod and utilise the steering wheel controls! - Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE G4 Challenge vehicle (FOR SALE)

You need the audio connectivity module to use an iPod/pad/phone with the RRS steering wheel controls Pre MY10.

That is for MY10 onwards only and not compatible with the ACM.

Looks like a right ballache, think I'll stick with the Aux-in lead for now! - Range Rover Sport 4.4 V8 HSE G4 Challenge vehicle (FOR SALE)

It isn't as bad as it looks.

Pull a few bits of dash off, try avoid breaking the clips, undo a few screws, try avoid dropping them down the front of the head unit. Unclip the audio lead and insert the ACM. Put it all back into place. It takes about 30 minutes. The latest lead to allow charging of the newer devices does not have a cradle on it so mine is plumbed into the glove box. Saves messing about with routing the lead to near the steering wheel.

The main problem is the price of the ACM as they are quite expensive but the audio quality is better than the AUX in plug and you can FFW FRW and Skip forward / reverse but I've never seen the shuffle option work. Allan

Fitting the audio control module is definitely worth the effort. My dealer fitted mine foc during one the service visits but I doubt if they'd do it for free in the UK Whistle
I purchased it from Stratestones. Ra-Ro Sport Super Dooper Charged.
