To be fair my girlfriend wouldn't have a clue what locking wheel nuts were and if the car had them.............shame on you SP for selling the poor girl the car without them.

To not put them on because they look ugly and because you live in the posh bits of London is stupid.

Did you not lock your car either?

I still fail to see what effect whatsoever locking wheel nuts would have made.
They can be taken off easier than normal wheel nuts by a 12 year old, anybody that thinks different is sadly deluded.

Indeed, and probably more seriously than the OP, who hasn't bothered to put up a picture of the wheels (but then I don't recall seeing a picture of the Gulfstream, Siha superyacht etc). What next? "Lost: cat. Black & has four legs and tail. Likes fish. Not keen on dogs" - easy find...

Are you for real Whistle We are not talking F1 style locking wheel nuts, although they seem to come off on their own these days Laughing

Those wheel nuts are nothing but a gimmick, anybody with a paperclip and a socket can remove them very easily.

Well I bet SP's ex wheels are the only ones of the forum without locking nuts and there the first set I've heard of being nicked off the car on here....

I think the point everyone is trying to make Ballsy, is that if you leave your car (any car tbh) in a built up area without at least the minimal protection of locking wheel nuts..then you cannot expect any sympathy from others when your "very expensive" alloys get stolen.

A reaction SP's friend will also get from her insurance company when (if) she tells them the same RRS gone

A competent burglar can bypass your house locks and alarm..............does this mean you don't bother with them either?

as for locking wheel nuts, socket+hammer= no locking nut Big Cry they will stop the average scum bag, but not someone with real intent.
