Being a fan should be encouraged, but another site?

That site has a weird, corporate sort of look to it. Given the "The New Rush" banner (isn't that copyrighted by LR) I'm thinking it's a not-entirely-independent forum.

Who knows, nowadays.

Actually, in a weird way, a direct request to visit another fan site is at least honest.

There could be lots of other stealth ways to accomplish the same thing, like after a few posts, attach a link to a thread on another site to be "helpful" in providing information, without disclosing the affiliation of the poster to the other site.

More hits on another site don't necessarily mean fewer hits here. I mean, we can all go over there and attach helpful links back to this site!

P.S. Martin, I guess you deleted the link, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to add .com to his user name. Wink
