Road Angel Navigator:
Is fully legal to use in Europe.

Classic Road Angel, New Road Angel, Road Angel Compact Plus, Road Angel Plus:
The legality of GPS and detector systems varies from Country to Country. We do not recommend taking these Road Angel units onto mainland Europe as this can result in a fine and/or confiscation of the device.

All laser detection devices are generally illegal to use/and to have in one's posession in Europe.

Road Angels sold in mainland Europe is modified to meet the legal requirements and has specific approval to allow it’s use.

I know they are definitely illegal in france.. ANGEL can you tell us, are you allowed to use these in Germany?? Past: Bmw M3 Coupe 57, 335d Coupe 56, Audi RS4 06, RR Sport TD HSE 05,

Forget the radar detectors, get an Indago which isn't a detector it's uses a database - it is based on the Snooper system, which may be the same as Road Angel................. but much more importantly - Has anybody booked the ferry/ Eurotunnel? Remember, you are going in peak holiday time so the sooner you book the better chance you get to travel on the day you want to! A Carbon Footprint is the mark a lump of coal makes when it's dropped on the ground.

Does LR Assistance cover Europe too? You don't want to find that something falls off your cars on the way back (at least amongst the LRs that are going!) and then you get dumped with some nonchalant French recovery truck! Wink

I have to say I'm very envious of you all.... but alas I'm on holiday in August as well and I can't afford to take all that time off AND pay for a holiday AND pay for a trip to the Ring. If I win the lottery between now and then or a rich aunt kicks the bucket then count me in! Wink
