some Cosworth specs for you guys

as promised heres one of the specs from the cosworth engine upgrades.

Cosworth Range Rover Upgrade

The Iconic Range Rover has been given a new purpose in life thanks to a comprehensive upgrade by styling Guru’s Project Kahn and by legendary engine tuners Cosworth.

Dubbed the ‘RS600’ due to the staggering level of torque produced and starting with an already strong platform in the 500bhp 5.0L supercharged V8 AJ133 engine, Cosworth work on the supercharger unit to increase the absolute boost pressure and the delivery to provide smooth, tractable boost through the rev range.

Unlike many other tuners who add piggy back ecu’s Cosworth use their technical ability to access the factory fitted then re calibrate it to extract the most efficient power from the engine while retaining all the original architecture, features and look of the stock unit. The other key benefit of this is that the calibration is not visible in the ecu coding to anyone except Cosworth.

The spec is as follows;

Power: 550bhp & 600 Ft lb of torque
Performance: 0-60mph = 4.7 seconds
Top Speed: Electronically limited to 140mph
Consumption figures are largely retained at OEM values
Service interval is 6000 miles or 12 months whichever is sooner

what i will also say is that this is just the stage 1 remap. with stage 2 we also use a smaller pulley and better belt. linked to a full stainless exhaust system this has been seen at over 600bhp

I don't see how it comes down to 4.7 0-60mph.... I doubt that very much.

So the only benefit of this over other remaps is that it doesn't have a piggy back ecu and It's got the "cosworth" name? (A piggy back ecu that can easily be hidden out of view)

4.7 seconds 0-60? holey sh*t

Slightly optimistic numbers by Cosworth though Martin.. the 510bhp XKR can only do it in 4.9 with half the kerb weight Wink RRS gone

Either way, sub 5 seconds 0-60 in a 2.5 tonne RRS Bow down
I assume there's a significant brake upgrade too, even from the S/C ones Question ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i
