I received an email this week offering £11-18K discounts off new Jaguar XK's from stratstones Confused

I think they are pricing out customers who have been loyal through JLR's hard times and eventually it will bite Sad Wanted a Series 2 LR since childhood but previously owned MY16 Disco Sport HSE TD4 Auto, MY13 RR Sport Black Edition TDV6 Auto, MY10 RR Sport HSE TDV6 Auto, 2007 Freelander 1 Freestyle TD4 Soft Top, 2009 Freelander 2 GS TD4 Auto, 2007 Freelander 2 GS TD4, 2004 Disco 2 Metropolis Auto, 2002 Disco 2 GS, 2000 Freelander 1 SE TD4 SW

Still hoping for a S2 one day!

I'd say the economic climate is the biggest killer at the moment.

People must be feeling the pinch and spending £60k odd on a new car isn't something people are queuing up to do, not just JLR, but all brands in that price bracket I would imagine.
Could also be a combination of a few factors as you've said, I would imaging JLR have satisfied the initial demand from pre/early orders and are now settling down into producing for those that order afresh. Possible new model on the horizon could make people think twice possibly too Question

That said, I saw a post recently (twitter maybe Confused ) from LPR saying they'd had a bumper weekend of orders, so the monies still there for some.

Oh, and 0% is a cracking deal, wish I'd got that Big Cry ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

according to someone i know in the trade, top end cars are still selling well, if you have £60-100k to spend you dont really care about recession, grandfathers inheritance looks after that!! it is the £25-40k bracket that is suffering just now aparently!

cheers

If they do 0% on the Evoque (which I very much doubt) later this year, Mrs Beans car would be sorted too Thumbs Up ON THE WAY: BMW F21 M140i

Farnell Deal

Farnell Flyer states it is an exclusive deal ... to be fair can't see it on the LR website

Details below .... but as always ring through and chat to Farnells directly

Range Rover Sport 3.0 SDV6 HSE

Cash Price 55 995

Deposit 16798.40

Amount of Credit 39196

Interest Charges 0

23 monthly payments 580.20

GMFV 25852

Excess Charge based on 10 000 miles per annum 12p

Perhaps LPR can say whether this is exclusive to farnells or is being offered by LR Finance across the dealerships. Farnell have just won Dealer of the Year from LR .

Used them myself about 4 years ago for a defender ... was very impressed. 2011 MY- RRS HSE - Zermatt -Ebony-Piano .... its a monochrome world
