Reprogramming Nav system

The fact that, while driving, the majority of the nav input functions are disabled may be very safe, it's also very annoying since you cannot easily enter a new destination while on the move.

Does anybody have any experience in overriding the safety feature? - Robert

In the year the system has existed (LR3/RR), it has not yet been bypassed. In the screen diagnostics there is a reference to a "speed inhibit setting" on/off switch, but it can't be changed... so we don't know what it would do.

Perhaps it's worth looking for some Jag forums where the software has been in use longer? L319 D4 HSE
