whats the rubber strips round the wheel arches for ?? do they need to be on ?? Rolling Eyes 2007 COOLRRS

They cover up the pre-punched holes for the mudflaps and stop you slicing your hand on the sharp inner lip of the arch if you put your hand in there when washing the car.

For the 1st six months only.

They then appear to go stale and curl up at the corners looking more and more untidy as times goes on Rolling Eyes

thought id ask,,took them off last year as they started to bubble up !!! take them off and puncher them and all the road salt etc comes out ..best off !!! Thumbs Up 2007 COOLRRS

They also sto the arches getting chipped and rusting away. I would rather sacrifice the protectors than the arches. As previously said, they ony cost a few quid - think of them as a consumable and replace every couple of yrs. j
