I've been getting 440 per tank in my TDV8 but have just decided to do a Shell V Power test over the past few weeks and will continue to Xmas.

Week 1 = 485
This week = not finished the tank yet but looks to be 500 ish

I'm convinced already. I do mostly A roads and motorway but also have plenty of back lane driving for the first couple and last couple of miles. Thumbs Up
There are only two teams on merseyside. Liverpool and Liverpool Reserves

I get between 400 and 450 miles per tank. Have had as much as 525 (motorway) and as little as 250 (when towing the race car).
Cheers,
J

Edit to say TDV8

Sorry, Been away for a long weekend.

I've been putting V-Power diesel in for about 4-5 weeks now and it's consistently coming in at 485 miles per tank - an increase of approx 45 miles.

My own geeky spreadsheet calculations said that I needed an extra 22 miles per tank to justify the V-Power on cost alone. I would probably keep on putting it in even if it didn't pay for itself due to the engine benefits of using it but the fact that it is paying for itself too makes it a no-brainer!

Obviously it depends on your average commute/joyride but it makes sense for me Thumbs Up
