Great videos J. Makes our Narbethong day look like a trip to the shops! Is that the winch you were sourcing from Duckworths or did you get it locally? It looks good.

Yes Hydronic - that's the duckers winch kit.
Have only had it on for two weeks and used it twice already. Once to winch out a D4 and again yesterday to get myself out of a steep bog hole Wink 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

Great fun there...looks like you are ready to come and tackle Colorado and Utah with us now.

I actually prefer the videos w/o music so you can hear the throttle modulation of each driver. Just by watching the videos, you can see that the Disco driver has good finesse, knows how to use the throttle moderately and generally is smoother going over the obstacles.

One item to wach for...when you've got your wheel in the air (cool shots by the way!) and it's spinning fast, if you come down hard, you can bust that half shaft more easily...so a bit more gentle on the throttle especially when coming back down to earth!

The wheels on Black Betty looks like some steelies, I guess, are you unable to run standard 18's or Compomotive's there, or are these perhaps 17's?

Nice adventures...great stuff!!

Sometimes the adrenalin does get the better of me PJ and it all seems to flow straight to my right boot Wink

Thanks for the heads up on the potential damage. Will have to watch that more closely in future.

The wheels are steel 17' rims from Dynamic. I went to the 17's to get more tyre options. Just not a lot available in a mud pattern in 18inch configuration. 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

Jimmy, I don't know what impresses me more, the actual footage or the production that you do afterwards...

Is it all edited in iMovie?

The iMovie part is the easy bit mate. These come as prepackaged movie trailers and you just drag and drop the footage in.

The longer ones take a bit more effort though Wink 'Black Betty' Java Black RRS 07 TDV6

I would crap myself with a newish RR then damaging/scratching it unless that's why I bought it in the first place. TDV8 HSE, Remap (+45 BHP + 100 Nm), Taylored sport exhaust system by Pipe Werx
