Under-bonnet stickers

Ok, I was checking the oil on mine this morning (first drop of oil it's needed in 12,000 miles) and decided to read the stickers on the black metal part behind the grille. I noticed that the one on the right hand side
says "TDV6 automatic diesel"

I find this odd, surely it should say 4.2 V8 Automatic Supercharged?

Sh*t cannot take mine back and demand the 4.2 S/C - I have the correct labelling!

RR, I think you would have noticed a very subtle difference in the performance and fuel economy if yours really had that engine! You going to demand a refund? 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it

I doubt after 12,000 miles they'd honour that one!

Makes me wonder why it is wrong though, I wonder at what stage in the process the sticker is applied? Does TB know I ask myself?

Did they rush it or did someone just not notice the 4.2 V8 Supercharged engine in the bay when they applied it? L319 D4 HSE

stickers probably applied by one person.. like the woman who was doing the rear badges and range rover strip on the boot.. just be a question of who was doing them stickers on the day.. mine definitely said TDV6, i remember seeing it when i was checking the details before i sold mine..

Actually getting on well with the D3. I don't miss the Sport. The Sport interior was far superior, but then the D3 does most of things better. It is certainly more comfortable, as the suspension is slightly softer and it is much better on the rough country roads around us. It also handles as well as the Sport, which surprised me (may due to the 19" alloys on the D3 vs the 18" on the RRS).
The big boot is great, as is the boot lid - much easier to open and close.
The side steps work well on the D3, making it much easier to get in and out. On the Sport, the side steps just get in the way.

Overall, I'm very happy with it and don't really miss the Sport. But then no one has given the D3 a second look. Yet in the Sport, we could see people noticing and talking about it and we used to get the occasionaly point. Matt

Last evening when I parked the Sport outside my parents place my Dad came into the lounge and said to look outside at my car - he had been watching some folks in a Maya Gold D3 drive passed the house, back up then sat for about 5 minutes looking at the Sport parked out on the street! As soon as he opened the front door they drove off! 2020 Pangea Green 1st Edition D240 New Defender 110 is here and loving it
