Angel, unfortunately this is a problem with the TDV6. Every review I've read states this.

Still thinking about it but the car makes me adopt such a chilled out driving style that 9/10 I don't feel a real lack of power.

I get this too and it is an annoyance - but Super is right, after a while your driving style will adapt and it will become less of a problem for you. It's a shame you also have the XK really - you don't want to be driving that like you drive your RRS |

Angel, if you are talking about a standing start from a junction, then left foot brake, right foot revs rise, then let go of brake quickly.

Something I've noticed ( ok its a s/c ) is this car is so much better in SPORT mode.... esp. when braking. if left in normal mode when going fairly fast - then want to stop quite quickly it will just leave it to the brakes, but, in Sport...... Blip....Blip.....Blip ......fantastic, it actually changes down beautifully ( great sound/feel ) letting the engine do some of the braking as well..................... Ohhh Yes........ Ohhh Yes |
