Thanks for meeting me today with the protector looks the Bees knees. On the way back i got 2 new tyres fitted and driving away from the garage i got the dreaded Engine fault message, so it is back at garage less than 5 days from picking it up !!!!!

Hey Guys - am so stoked to have got my protector from Ray this morning, but being a total girl, have no idea how to fit it... Rolling Eyes

Can someone possibly do some good comprehensive insructions?! Presumably the "open" bits of the device go to the sides? I can't see how it'll stop the scum getting to the cable as it seem the cable has to go around the outside of it at some point. Hmm. End of week...day off...GIRL BRAIN.
Thank you!

Hi, I thought the same when I got mine.. But when you drop the spare wheel it all starts to make sense. Give it a go, is really very straight forward. Wink

I did mine last week, took 5 minutes.

As Saty says, drop the spare wheel a good way down. Place the wheel protector face down on a piece of cardboard to protect the face with the "square bit" up in the air. Push under the spare wheel and lower a bit further. Lift the spare clear of the cable and thread the bits through the top of the "square". Then wind up everything. As it pulls up, wiggle it around to centre it, then pull eveything up tight.

Stand back, chuffed and have a cup of tea Thumbs Up

No cable on show and just enough room around the protector to get crap out.

Hope this helps. 2013 (13.5MY) RRS HSE Black | Causeway Grey | Privacy | Ivory & Ebony | Grand Black Lacquer | Style 7 Alloys | AWESOME
