Red Route fines

Well my RRS is gone and the new owner is driving around on my old number plate although this should have been transferred to me when he bought it - I have a feeling this might be a fight with the garage I Px'd the car with even though I have it all in written down.

Last week I had a call from Kam to inform me that I shouldn't park in red routes - he had spotted my old RRS parked in Knightsbridge and this week I've started receiving fines for the offences, 4 so far always at the same spot at the same time of day. The new owner will have a unpleasant surprise when these get passed to him, I hope!

Now the bad news - My old RRS has been pimped up, they have colour coded the whole car and it looks naff! Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
2009 Alaska TDV8 - Gone and much missed.

Maybe, unlike you, they don't need to pay for surgical enhancement and have the spare cash laying about to do such things to their new car...... Thumbs Up

I wondered what you were talking about VA. Red root has s different meaning here. I presume it still refers to bus routes in UK?

Very difficult situation, when i sold my x5, it went to London and amassed 69 different fines in different boroughs and resulted in a bailiff to my house 6 summonses to court and this after i had a letter from DVLA stating I didn't own the vehicle at the time of all the offences. I have just had the last one thrown out of court after nearly three years,

Got the letter from the DVLA today stating that the car is SORN - my dealer have said they'll sort the situation out so I'm simply passing all the stuff to them. 2005 Zambezi TDV6 - Gone but not forgotten
