anyone added a relay to operate the foglights?

just wondering if anyone has fitted a relay to operate the foglights when the main beam comes on - ie - to use the foglights are auxiliary driving lights?

thanks in advance MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

Mine come on when you pull button?
It's illegal to drive round with fog lights on all the time, due to beam angle not been covered in the Mot
I used to have a s2000, with been so low, fog lights were always dazzeling. Shocked

I know they're illegal to drive with them on all the time which is why I asked had anyone added a relay etc so that they came on when main beams were activated.

Thus would mean that when you switch back to dipped, the fog lights would also switch off, therefore not illegal.

Somhas anyone done it? MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports

Not sure why anyone would have done that. Fog lights only light a few feet in front of you. WINNER - 2009 ‘Just Doing What It’s Designed To Do’ Award

Just to let you know I've done this, and have found it to be very worthwhile. It may only light up a few feet in front of you but now when I go to full beam, I have loads of light in front of me now which I find very safe.

As soon as I go back to dipped beam off they go, so they won't be dazzling anybody.

Now.... To think about adding HID to the fogs Whistle MY10 HSE 3.0 TDV6 : Santorini Black : Ebony Interior w/Anigre wood : Privacy Glass (total) : Sunroof : Sidesteps : Hybrid TV : Detachable Tow Kit : Spare Wheel Cover : 22" Dished Supersports
