removal of 2121 bluetooth paring code?

I've searched the forums but can't find anything related to removing the need to enter "2121" every time you connect to the car. It's a real pain in the butt.

Is there a software upgrade from LL to ignore or remove this?

My wifes BMW auto connects to any bluetooth phone already setup in her car - very nice.

Anyone?

Mine was the same when I got it,I think it is a software issue but Wiggs has units that he has pre flashed/done so he does them as an exchange, the unit itself is just plugged in in the boot on the drivers side(for us) Wink behind the carpet,a 2 minute job to exchange and no more issues.

All sorted!! Wiggs is "yer man" Bow down Bow down

up graded sat nav as well, now got the A1 Thumbs Up

currently deselecting contacts from 600+ to 300 (max the RRS will accept)

One frustrating point is the car seems to be displaying my contacts inconsistantly??

eg...Joe Bloggs

Fred Smith

then for some reason "Bloggs Joe" even though I have all my contacts on the Iphone4 saved first name / last name......any advice?? RRS TDV6 HSE Giverney/Ivory.
