My Sat Nav cant read a Map !!!

Second RRS - first 06 model sat nav was Ok, but not as good as Tom Tom

BUT 2011 model its useless - in France it regularly takes us off the toll motorway, through a town and back on to same motorway - initially thougt it was me.

then yesterday

drive from milton Keynes to Leeds - simples straight up M1 right ?

Yes until Wakefield, and RRS took me off M1 through centre of Wakefield back on to M1 and on to Leeds - useless!
It is just mine, (perhaps its female) Is there a fix ?

Martyn

Is it picking up traffic information? If so, there may have been slow traffic on the motorway and the detour route might have been calculated as quicker.

Did you actually follow the instructions to leave the motorway and go through Wakefield etc.? 2012 SDV6 - it's missing a couple of cylinders
2008 TDV8 - it was a labour of love and is much missed

It ws picking up raffia info - so possibly, but it didnt ask to do a detour ? Might try turning the traffic off.

But should be able to use traffic and get the right route.

Yes I did follow it - seemed a good idea initially!

The land rover sat navs aren't the best and mine loves to take me off main roads and along the country back roads no matter what settings I adjust! RRS TDV8 HST

Interesting post. I have just arrived in Alicante (25 degrees by the way Cool ) and the RRS brought us a long way on the last leg of the journey. I'm guessing I need to tweak the settings perhaps.

I also like the soothing voice - my old one sounded like a irritated old woman and got angrier if you took a wrong turn. 2013 (13.5MY) RRS HSE Black | Causeway Grey | Privacy | Ivory & Ebony | Grand Black Lacquer | Style 7 Alloys | AWESOME
