Standard 6 stacker radio and DVDs

The handbook implies that the standard 6 stacker radio in the 07MY will not play MP3s etc on DVD disks. Can someone definitely confirm this is not the case and it will only read CD format disks only.

I am too scared to try a dvd disk in my system in case the disk gets stuck. While the standard radio is OK it is really old school as far as features go - even for 07 it was ancient technology and not really up to the image LR was trying to create with the Sport.

Well apparently it will play DVDplus disks but might not eject - ergo if it can play these disks it might also play a DVD data disk with MP3s - hence the question to those who have actually tried rather than people who think they are funny. 07MY RRS TDV6
