Thanks for the news Les. Could be just what I want - quiet or reasonably quiet onroad and decent offroad.

How would these tyres compare to Vredestein Xtreme 4's for winter use in ice and snow?

From your picture look like the new AT's not the OLD AT2's Question Exclamation Question Whistle Question

Are these the standard 19 inch size/profile.

Look pretty cool and more aggressive than my Pirelli ATR's which are pretty damm quite too, quieter than AT2's by far.

Replaced my AT2's with Pirrelli as fed up of getting gashes in the front sidewalls after a few thousand miles, will be interested if the new AT's fair any better. Also think the wider rim and lower profile does not help on the RRS, but many Disco owners have had same problem with the narrower rim and bigger profile fitted on their's.

Still have to test my Pirrellis in the mud though.

At least we are getting more choice now

Yes Lespes. You are right.

These are the new AT's but with 55 profile. Cant wait till next year for the new 50's. Need them now.

Most impressed with tarmac ability. Going off road on the 18th Oct will let you know outcome. But tread looks great.

Ride is smooth too Thumbs Up

I used to run my Disco 3 on 18" wheels with General AT2 - they were really unstoppable in mud and snow but the huge benefit was that I could get well over 40000 miles out of them. They may have dropped economy by 1-2mpg and added a very slight amount of road noise , but that was the only issue

Now moved onwards and upwards to my RR Sport, so interested in these new ATs for 19".

Any reports on mileages that they are giving?
How about road noise and handling? Rod

Skippy. I dont do to many miles as it is so will take me a while to give you an answer. Road noise is damn near same as standard road tyres. I'm hard pushed to tell the differance Thumbs Up

Ride is deffo better and much smoother than my 20"

22" must be horrible ride.

Biggest issue I have is the knocking from the suspension Censored  SDV8 vogue SE.
